元気になる色やデザインで仕上げる！
花や海、自然を見ると元気が出る、気持ちよくなるという方は多いのではないでしょうか？気分を向上させたり、元気を保ったりするうえで視覚は大きく影響しています。そのため、毎日目にするもの、家の内装は重要な部分といえます。

集いやすい間取りにリノベする
昔ながらの日本の家の造りや古民家の土間は、近所の人や来客者がフラッと立ち寄って、玄関先で座って話したり、靴を脱がずとも縁側に腰掛けてお茶を楽しんだりできる空間が多くありました。しかし、最近の住宅はプライバシー空間がしっかり守られていたり、玄関が狭かったりして、気軽に立ち寄ったり、靴を脱がなければ腰掛けて話したりする空間がなくなっています。そのため、お客様を呼ぶには部屋を片付けるなどの準備が必要と感じたり、近所の人も気軽に顔を見せにいけない雰囲気になってしまったりしているかもしれません。

和室や個室につながる土間を設けておけば、車椅子生活になっても、部屋のそばまで外用の車椅子を持ってきて、スライドして乗り込むことができ、外出もしやすくなります。寝たきりになったとしても、お客さんが土間部分から入って、声をかけやすいので、人とのつながりを保ちやすい間取りです。
壁ではなく扉で仕切って自由度をあげる！
普段、１～２人で暮らすには、それほど広い空間は必要ないかもしれませんが、家族や知人が集まると狭く感じる場合もあります。だからと言って部屋を広くすると、冷暖房の効きが悪くなったり、掃除が大変になったりします。
その点をふまえて間取りを考える際には、部屋を細かく壁を作って分けるのではなく、部屋そのものは広くとって必要なスペースは扉を使って仕切るようにすることで、自由度の高い使い方が出来るようになるかもしれません。ＬＤＫに和室があったり、ベッドを置いたりしても、その空間だけを引き込み戸で仕切れば寝室にすることが出来ます。扉をオープンにしておけば、部屋を広く使って数人を招いたり、ベッドに寝ていてもリビングの話に参加できたりもします。
